Remember on my first post, I said I still have a backpack, inflatable sleeping pad, and pillow that are on their way? Well, they finally arrived. The sleeping pad and the pillow are gifts from a friend, the backpack is a gift from myself.

I had a few sleeping pads on my wishlist but this wasn't actually one of them. I was just looking for a cheaper sleeping pad. I was not even considering the features. then my friend made me check the this first and asked me if I liked it. He wanted to give it to me, as he is also using the same sleeping pad. When I checked the item, I suddenly realized I was only browsing for cheap sleeping pad and forgot to consider the quality. I liked this one because it's lightweight and packed small. It should not take up a lot of space in my backpack. He offered to buy this for me and I searched for the best deal.

I got this sleeping pad for only 3,246 php. It's the best deal I can find in Lazada. There are other sellers who sell the same products for a much higher price. I also like its camouflage or military design. I have always liked this design since high school. I remember painting my own nails with camouflage back then. There is also a repair kit included and a small pocket inside the bag to put the repair kit into. Anyway, I didn't inflate it yet, I'll try it when we go beach camping this weekend.

TETON Sports ComfortLite Self Inflating Pillow

This pillow was ordered together with the sleeping pad, I got it for only 3,153 php, almost the same with the sleeping pad. I expected it would pack smaller than the sleeping pad but it doesn't.Yet, I still like it because it's lightweight, not hard to inflate or deflate and it looks comfy. I haven't tried using it so I can't really tell yet.

Free Knight 40L Water-resistant backpack

This is probably what I needed the most, a backpack. I have been using a gym bag when traveling or going outdoors and though I can out a lot of stuff it can get difficult to carry.  So I had a lot of outdoor backpack on my wishlist. I also asked recommendation from my mountaineer friend of what size of backpack should I get. she said 30 to 40L should be enough for me. So I got myself a 40L outdoor backpack.

At first glance, all the straps seemed to be overwhelming but the good thing is it's not hard to figure out.  It also has a survival whistle. I tried it and yes, it works. It also has a laptop compartment, it's so important for me because as a freelancer I bring my laptop everywhere I go. I tried putting a few of my gears inside, a laptop, pillow, sleeping pad and a camping stove and it's still roomy. It looks like I can carry a lot of gears and stuff with this backpack.

I'm so excited for this coming weekend. My family will go camping in Canigao Island.
